    The City of Culver City is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for furnishing a repair solution for approximately 360 linear feet (LF) Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) of failing storm drain pipeline with an “Add Item” for an additional 435 LF of RCP joint repair. This storm drain pipeline was built in different periods of time presenting various diameters. The storm drain pipeline consists of inside diameter (ID) ranging from 78-inches to 48-inches. The proposal should include repair recommendations, scope and cost for all labor, services, materials, and equipment, and perform all work to provide for a complete and acceptable project.The proposal should include full Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) material components lining or Slip lining the first 110 LF (Section 1), or other proven trenchless material/methods to fully repair the structural deficiencies, and an option for a method to rehabilitate the joints to the lateral near Vicstone Ct., approximately 250 LF (Section 2). The proposal should also include an “Add Item” to rehabilitate the joints of an additional 435 LF (Section 3) north to the Culver City limits near Lenawee Avenue and Marcia Court.Proposers may not take advantage of omissions or oversights in this document. Proposers must supply products and services that meet or exceed the requirements of this RFP. In the event of a dispute over installation or performance, the needs of Culver City will govern.Due to the proposed highly specialized pipe slip lining and full structural CIPP, or other trenchless pipeline rehabilitation technologies, the RFP procurement process is recommended in order to evaluate and obtain the best value to meet the City’s needs. A structural lining material is proposed to be installed inside the existing pipe through a trenchless method. The RFP will require the proposers to identify their methods of construction for installing the structural lining, including field investigation and detailed measurement, preparation of supporting calculations, and installation of thetrenchless liner.
