    CITY OF HILLSDALE, MICHIGAN REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS JUNIORS RENOVATION: HILLSDALE COMMUNITY LIBRARY The Hillsdale Community Library is requesting proposals for the following projects: Assess building needs and internal architecture, create and provide initial planning proposal to reconfigure and/or renovate two existing junior rooms. RFP due date/Public Opening: Sealed proposals are due by 2:00 pm (local time) on June 22, 2026 at the following location: Hillsdale City Hall Office of the City Clerk 97 N. Broad Street Hillsdale, MI 49242 Project Location: This project is located at: Hillsdale Community Library 11 E. Bacon St. Hillsdale, MI 49242 Scope of Work: Evaluate the existing space begin the process to redesign and/or renovate the existing junior sections to fit into one space. Includes but is not limited to: measurements, conceptual/preliminary layouts, bidding and contracting, and construction management. 1. Submit a formal proposal using the attached table below. Include any supporting documents that provide further detail on the proprietary process. o The attached table is not exhaustive, other formats acceptable if necessary. 2. Work with staff to determine initial architectural planning steps and suggestions. 3. Work with staff to develop and communicate building needs, prepare and supply all plans/drawings and timelines, and provide cost estimates or other pertinent updates. 4. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for inspections of Hillsdale Community Library.
