Lift Station #8 Upsizing and Force Main

The Project includes:
• Demolition of wet well top slab and access hatches.
• Provide, set-up, operate and maintain bypass pumping system including
pumps, piping, valves, connection to existing force main, and all
appurtenances.
• Demolition of pumps, piping equipment and all appurtenances inside the
wet well of wet well top slab and access hatches.
• Rehabilitation of wet well.
• Demolition of all above grade piping, valves, and fittings.
• Removal of electrical panels, controls, and all appurtenances.
• Installation of three submersible pumps including all appurtenances and
discharge piping in the wet well.
• Installation of all above-ground piping, valves, fittings and supports
including tie-in to existing force main.
• Construction of all instrumentation and electrical improvements as
shown on the drawings, for a complete working system including, but not
limited to instrumentation and control assemblies, service equipment,
conductors, SCADA capabilities, all related appurtenances, including
studies, testing and coordination.
• Construct approximately 3,040 linear feet of new 10-inch force main as
shown on the drawings, including sections by open-cut and trenchless
construction and sections with 16-inch steel casing.
• Construct air release valve assemblies in vented manholes for the force
main including all appurtenances as shown on the drawings.
• Tie-in new 10-inch force main to existing wet well of Lift Station No. 20
