    Description

    This project shall be conducted in accordance with the plans, specifications and other contract documents, all of which may be obtained as per the section below titled “Obtaining Contract Documents” of this Notice Inviting Bids. The project consists of the following: The Work consists of the supply and delivery of one hundred forty (140) decorative LED post top luminaires to replace existing high pressure sodium (HPS) post top fixtures. Luminaires shall be limited to the following manufacturers and model numbers: Sternberg Lighting 100W Replacement: 46W – PT-A670TSRLED-OL4-12L-40-T3-MDL014-A-BLOC-CM 200W Replacement: 88W – PT-A670TSRLED-OL4-12L-40-T3-MDL014-A-BLOC-CM Cyclone Lighting 100W Replacement: CY13T4B-VS3AR-T3M-P20-40K-MVOLT-10KV-F2AP-BK-TX 200W Replacement: CY13T4B-VS3AR-T3M-P50-40K-MVOLT-10KV-F2AP-BK-TX No other manufacturers or products will be accepted. All luminaires shall meet all City approved decorative design standards, including but not limited to housing style, finish, color, ornamental features, and overall appearance, as determined by the City. Luminaires that do not conform to the City’s established decorative requirements will be rejected. City approved decorative design requirements are set forth in Exhibit “A” and are hereby incorporated by reference. The City has standardized its LED lighting infrastructure on the manufacturers identified above. These products are required to ensure compatibility with existing equipment and to maintain consistency in system operations and maintenance. Pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 3400(c), the City has determined that these specified products are necessary to match existing equipment and support uniformity in maintenance and operations. Accordingly, substitutions or equivalent products will not be accepted. All luminaires shall be delivered in five (5) shipments of approximately thirty (30) fixtures per delivery. Deliveries shall occur every two weeks after the start date agreed upon by the Contractor and the City based on the following schedule. The City of Woodland pays applicable sales tax at a rate of 8 percent. For invoicing purposes, sales tax shall be identified as a separate line item. The City’s estimated cost of the goods for base bid only is $250,000 to $350,000.
