    The City of Columbus (hereinafter “City”) is accepting bids for Lincoln Park Lighting, Court and Path Addition, the work for which consists of park improvements that will include lighting installation, futsal court installation, site grading and additional asphalt walking loop, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, plans and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). WHERE & WHEN TO SUBMIT BID Bids will be received by the City of Columbus, Department of Recreation & Parks, Design & Construction, at www.bidexpress.com until April 28, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time. DRAWINGS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Drawings and technical specifications are available as separate documents at www.bidexpress.com. Drawings and technical specifications are contract documents. PRE-BID CONFERENCE A pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at 11am (EST) at Lincoln Park, 580 East Woodrow Ave, Columbus, OH 43207. Attendance is not required but strongly encouraged. NOTICE TO PROCEED/CONTRACT COMPLETION The City anticipates issuing a notice to proceed on or about early July 2026. All work is to be complete by December 31, 2026. QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE BID DOCUMENTS OR PROJECT Questions pertaining to the drawings, plans, specifications, IFB, and/or other contract documents must be submitted in writing to the Department of Recreation & Parks, by email to jwcox@columbus.gov on or before April 21, 2026. No phone calls will be accepted.
