INVITATION TO BID LINE CLEARANCE TREE TRIMMING & REMOVAL FOR CITY OF CENTRALIA CONTRACT NO. CCL-26-11PWC Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for personnel, equipment, tools and some materials for Line Clearance Tree Trimming & Removal project along our 15kV distribution and 69kV lines as described in the technical specifications (Section 4) will be received by the City of Centralia (City) Light Department. Sealed bids will be received at 1100 North Tower Avenue, Centralia, WA 98531 until 2:00 pm, local time, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. All bids shall be publicly opened and read out loud. The Contract Bid Documents may be obtained after March 7, 2026, by registering on the City’s Website: https://www.cityofcentralia.procureware.com/login and download the bid documents. This will take you to the City’s Bid Opportunities/Small Works Roster App, where you will need to sign in or register. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal form contained in the Contract Documents. The bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope plainly marked “Sealed Bid: Public Works Contract CCL-26-11PWC; Line Clearance Tree Trimming & Removal" along with the name and address of the bidder and the date and time of the bid. A Surety Bond, cashier's check, or certified check of the bidder, made payable to City of Centralia, for five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid as security. Bid security of all, except the successful bidder, will be returned upon execution of the contract by the successful bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City provides reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities. We invite any person with special needs to contact the City Clerk at (360) 330-7670 at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the bid opening to discuss any special accommodations that may be necessary.
