The bid package includes both: A subcontractor listing form,( DESIGNATION OF SUBCONTRACTOR) and Exhibit 12-B: Bidder’s List of Subcontractors (DBE and Non-DBE), Parts 1 and 2 We understand that the DBE program is suspended and not applicable for this project. In light of this, we request clarification on the following: Is Exhibit 12-B still required to be completed and submitted with the bid? If so, is Exhibit 12-B intended to serve a purpose separate from the subcontractor listing form already included in the bid package? To ensure full compliance and avoid duplication and inconsistencies, we would appreciate your guidance on how the City would like bidders to proceed. Thank you for your time and clarification. The contractor usually "piggyback" that permit with an associated permit during construction. Will the city follow that process? If no, can the City share the cost of the CALTRANS permit so that all bidders are equally accounting for this fee? Another suggestion is to it include a stipulated allowance bid item for required TC permits of other agencies such Caltrans & the County.
