ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Issued By Beauregard Parish Police Jury 201 West 2nd Street DeRidder, Louisiana 70634 General Notice Separate sealed Bids for Longville Road Improvements (Phase 2), Beauregard Parish Police Jury; M.A. Project No. B6-22032-DB will be received by the Police Jury, at the Beauregard Parish Police Jury office, 201 W 2nd St., DeRidder, LA 70634 until 10:00 am (Central Time Zone), on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and shall at that time and place be publicly opened and read aloud. Work consists of asphalt street rehabilitation on Longville Road as detailed in the plans. All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA. R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity. Article 6 of the General Conditions, as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions, sets forth Owner’s requirements as to performance and payment bonds, other required bonds (if any), and insurance. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by required bonds and insurance documentation. Such bonds shall be issued using the forms included in the Bidding Documents. Work Classification Work Classification: Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction Obtaining the Bidding Documents Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office of Meyer & Associates, Inc. (337) 625-8353, located at 600 N. Cities Service Hwy., Sulphur, LA 70663. A Bidding Document deposit is not required.
