The organization is supported by private contributions, foundation grants, corporate funding, and government funding. - The project is funded in part by a Regional Council Capital Fund grant administered by Empire State Development (ESD) under Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) #139415, with the balance funded by the Guide Dog Foundation through donor support, financing, and organizational equity. Please review prior to expressing interest in providing a bid. · Submission of a 100 % Performance Bond for your work, and/or letter from surety certifying same, which WILL be required for this project. · Submission of an AIA Document A305 (Contractor’s Qualification Statement) with audited financial statements for the past two (2) years. Seeking Qualified New York State Certified WBE, MBE and SDVOB Bidding Contractors Non-discrimination and Contractor Diversity: ESD’s Non-discrimination & Contractor and Supplier Diversity policy will apply to this project. Pursuant to 5 NYCRR §142.8, the Construction Manager (TRITEC) is to use “Good Faith Efforts” to achieve an overall Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (“MWBE”) participation goal of 30% ($300,000). The overall MWBE participation goals shall consist of a Minority[1]owned Business Enterprise (“MBE”) participation goal of 20% ($200,000) and a Women-owned Business Enterprise (“WBE”) participation goal of 10% ($100,000) for any contractual opportunities generated in connection with the project. MBE participation may not be substituted for WBE participation, or the reverse.
