GENERAL SCOPE: The work includes selective demolition, repair, replacement, and installation of masonry, roofing, skylight systems, flashing, and associated components as indicated in the contract drawings and specifications. All work shall be coordinated with existing conditions and adjacent building elements. Building 1A – Masonry & Exterior Elements Replacement of deteriorated masonry, including windowsills and lintels Replacement of area lights and miscellaneous exterior elements as indicated Installation of new flashing systems including: Flashing and counter flashing Weep systems Installation of new brick to match existing in color, size, and pattern Building 1C – Skylight & Roof Restoration Removal and replacement of (4) existing skylights Removal of surrounding roofing system down to existing metal deck (deck to remain) Installation of: New roofing system Curbs and flashing Prefabricated skylights Rotunda scope: Removal of deteriorated plywood Salvage and reinstallation of copper shingles Removal and disposal of existing building paper Installation of new flashing, vapor barrier, and plywood Replacement of: Expansion joints Glass block mortar joints at lantern Building 1L – Lantern & Skylight Repairs Replacement of all mortar joints and expansion joints at glass block lanterns Replacement of sealant at base of lantern Replacement of skylight components as indicated Removal and reinstallation of glass panels Provision of temporary protection below skylight and lantern areas Building 6S – Skylight Replacement Removal of existing skylight system down to concrete and steel substructure Installation of new skylight system in accordance with contract drawings Integration with existing structural and roofing components Building 2A – Masonry & Flashing Work Replacement of existing counterflashing at masonry walls adjacent to skylight Removal and replacement of associated brickwork Installation of: New flashing and counter flashing Weep systems Brick to match existing SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Detailed scope confirmation and exclusions Unit pricing & Allowances items Lead times for major materials (skylights, specialty items) Relevant project experience and references PLA Applicable Please email henil.p@cubecsllc.com for any questions.
