The City of Burlington (“City”), Department of Public Works Water Resources Division, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction services for the clearing of trees and shrubbery surrounding several City-owned outfalls off Manhattan Drive in Burlington, Vermont. Qualified firms must possess the technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, relevant references, and prior experience necessary to complete the work described in this Request for Price Quotations (“RFPQ”). The project area, located off of Manhattan Drive in Burlington, is part of a larger wetland complex that has been fragmented over time through the development of Route 127 and other surrounding neighborhoods. The City has been working with VHB to design a rehabilitation project for the Manhattan Drive outfalls, which shall be constructed later in 2026. As part of the permitting process associated with this project, it was determined that tree and shrub clearing shall occur within the winter construction season. This RFPQ solely includes the clearing of brush and trees within the outfall area and does not include the construction of the outfall repairs, which will be advertised under a separate bid later this spring. The clearing associated with this contract shall be completed by April 15, 2026. Questions Due: 3/6/26 Proposals Due: 3/12/26
