Marbach Road Extension

The Marbach Road Extension Project is located in western Bexar County near the intersection of Marbach Road and Wentwood Run. The objective of the Project is to connect the two ends of Marbach Road between Wentwood Run and Just My Style. The project will construct approximately 1150 linear feet of roadway. The Project will improve public safety by providing a safe crossing down Marbach Road. 

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Bexar County Public Works Building, Board Room, 1948 Probandt Street, San Antonio, Texas, 78214.

Deadline for Questions are due by Monday, July 27, 2026 at 4:00 PM through www.civcastusa.com in the Q&A portal or to the Senior Contract Specialist, Jonathan Preiss, CTPM, jonathan.preiss@bexar.org (CC: dwegmann@bexar.org). You will be notified of this addedum automatically through email. 

Sealed bids for furnishing all the labor and materials and doing all work in connection with the Marbach Road Extension Project will be received by the Bexar County Purchasing Department, 1103 S. Frio, Purchasing Suite, San Antonio, Texas 78207, until exactly 10:00 AM, local time on Friday, August 14, 2026, at which time all bids received will be open and read aloud. Time is of the essence. Bids received after the exact time and date set for submission above will be unopened. Online bidding is also available through www.civcast.com.
