    NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF PARKS, RECREATION AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids for Marsha P. Johnson Park Interim Office Trailer at 90 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211 of Marsha P. Johnson State Park, 90 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, New York will be received by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP), via email at NYC.CapitalBidSubmissions@parks.ny.gov. Electronically submitted bids must only be attached in PDF format– hyperlinks will not be accepted. Note: There is a 20MB limit when submitting attachments via email. General Construction Contract A general description of the primary work elements is listed below for reference. Contractor is responsible for reviewing all the drawings and specifications to obtain a complete understanding of the entire work scope. This contract includes all work indicated on the project documents, including but not limited to: 1. Mobilization and establishment of site perimeter fencing and maintenance and protection of existing conditions. 2. General demolition and removals of trees and other obstructions within the proposed trailer location and as necessary for the installation of electrical and plumbing utilities. 3. Provide new prefabricated office trailer including related structural, drainage, electrical, and domestic water systems. 4. Modifications to the water service Hot Box to accommodate new year-round water service to the office trailer. 5. Coordination with trailer and stair/ramp fabricators for all work above grade and within the trailer interior. 6. Provide all necessary permits. 7. Closeout documents including warranties. GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND THE WORKPLACE CERTIFICATION effective November 5, 2025 Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §139-M, all bidders on competitive state procurements are required to certify that they maintain a written policy addressing gender-based violence in the workplace. If an organization is unable to make the certification, a signed statement explaining the reason must be submitted with the bid. CONTRACTOR REGISTRY REQUIREMENT in December 2024 Newly established subsection 220-i to NYS Labor Law Article 8 requires contractors and subcontractors to register with the Bureau of Public Work and Prevailing Wage Enforcement for public work.
