    Description

    This project includes the renovation of two distinct areas of the AW building; The Diesel Lab 131 and Car Lab 125. Work is to be completed in phases allowing for College use of one full Lab area at all times. Scope includes the removal of two (2) existing in-ground pneumatic vehicle lifts and five (5) existing bolt-on surface-mounted lift, patching and repair of the existing concrete floor slab, and the installation of twelve (12) new in-ground lifts which are to be completely recessed when not in use. Provide new power distribution to each new lift location. Provide new ceiling-mounted air hose reels, extended from the existing compressed air distribution system. Remove and replace the existing vehicle exhaust removal system, utilizing the existing through-wall penetrations. Structural work includes the removal of a non-structural cantilevered beam section.
