(Schultz), bidding as a prime contractor, welcomes quotes from all qualified subcontractors, services, material suppliers and trucking firms for complete or portions of the work for the following project: Rehabilitation / Replacement of Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Chittenango Service Area Chittenango, Madison County, NY NOTE: SCHULTZ IS ACTIVELY SEEKING AND ENCOURAGING CERTIFIED MBE/WBE/SDVOB's TO SUBMIT QUOTATIONS ON THIS PROJECT Summary of work: We are seeking proposals for the demolition and abandonment of existing headworks, process equipment, piping, valves, site features, and selected treatment units; installation of new influent and effluent piping, manholes, and site improvements; earthwork, grading, pavement, and restoration; and heat tracing and insulation of shallow-buried piping. The project includes cleaning, temporary use, and final abandonment of the existing sludge holding tank; removal and replacement of primary and secondary clarifier equipment; conversion of structures to an Anoxic/Equalization Tank and Clearwell; installation of a new amphidrome reactor and controls; modifications to the sand filter pump station; abandonment of one sand filter bed; replacement of the UV disinfection system in kind; and complete electrical and control system upgrades, including new power, controls, hazardous area sealing, and heat trace systems. Contractors are required to provide proof of registration with NYSDOL as required by Labor Law Section 220-I.
