The depot will contain restrooms, an office, storage and an open-air shelter area. The City of Laurinburg will bring utilities to within 5 ft of the concrete slab on the Railroad Street side of the building. Bids will be received for a single prime contract with all trades. Electronic bid documents may be obtained on/after August 5, 2026, by a downloadable link on the City of Laurinburg website at https://www.laurinburg.org/business/#purchasing-rfps. Bidders must complete the vendor registration process to login and obtain copies of the bid documents and drawings. Prospective bidders are highly encouraged to schedule a site visit in accordance with the bid documents prior to submitting a bid. The project site is near the intersection of Railroad Street and South Gill Street, Laurinburg, NC. Bid bond/bid security of 5% shall be required with the submittal of bids. Performance and payment bonds will be required in accordance with NC General Statutes. Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful bidder.
