MCUD Metal Building Administrative Facility - Phase I

Scope of Work

Midland County Utility District (MCUD) is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for the construction of a pre-engineered metal office building at the District's Water Treatment Facility located in Midland County, Texas.

The project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to construct an approximately 3,000-square-foot administrative office and 1,000-square-foot shop shell in accordance with the Contract Documents.

Work includes, but is not limited to:

• Furnishing and erecting the pre-engineered metal building system.
• Concrete foundation and floor slab.
• Exterior metal wall and roof panels.
• Modern storefront glazing, exterior doors, and overhead door.
• Structural steel, framing, trim, gutters, and downspouts.
• Cedar entry columns and exterior architectural features.
• All work necessary to deliver a complete weather-tight building shell as shown in the Contract Documents.

This solicitation is for the building shell only. Interior build-out, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, insulation, and finishes are not included in this contract unless specifically identified in the Contract Documents.

The successful proposer shall complete the Work within ninety (90) calendar days following issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
