    2025-2026 Heavy-Duty Towing & Relocating Services During Winter Weather Emergency Operations to Support Snow/Ice Removal Office of CHART/OTMO Maryland State Highway Administration Solicitation for Heavy Duty Towing & Relocating Services during Winter Weather Operations to support Snow/Ice Removal with the Maryland Department of Transportation Administration's Office of Transportation Mobility & Operations (CHART). The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is soliciting vendors for Heavy-Duty Towing & Relocating Services during Winter Weather Emergency Operations to Support Snow/Ice Removal for the five (5) geographical service areas throughout the State of Maryland as outlined. Enclosed please find the necessary forms for your organization to complete and submit in order to obtain a Contract for Heavy Duty Towing & Relocating Services during Winter Weather Operations to support Snow/Ice Removal with the Administration's Office of Transportation Mobility & Operations (CHART) in the five (5) geographical service areas as outlined in Attachment V. This Contract will be for the 2025-2026 winter season. SERVICE AREAS -- The SHA heavy-duty towing services that need to be served under this contract are in five (5) geographical areas hereafter referred to as “service areas.” The five (5) service areas are as follows: • BALTIMORE METROPOLITAN AREA: Includes all locations within the boundaries of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard Counties. • WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA: Includes all locations within the boundaries of Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. • SOUTHERN MARYLAND AREA: Includes all locations within the boundaries of Calvert, Charles, and St Mary’s Counties. • EASTERN SHORE / NORTH AREA: Includes all locations within the boundaries of Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. • WESTERN METROPOLITAN AREA: Includes all locations within the boundaries of Frederick and Washington Counties.
