    Description

    The St. Johns River Water Management District (the “District”) is seeking submittals from qualified contractors to provide mechanical aquatic vegetation shredding services on District-managed properties. Respondents must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing mechanical aquatic vegetation shredding on projects similar in scope and complexity as described in the Scope of Work, and all heavy-duty and light-duty shredding equipment must meet the minimum specifications set forth herein.

    The initial term of the resulting agreement will be three (3) years, with the option of two (2) annual renewals upon mutual written agreement of the parties. The estimated total budget is $200,000 for the initial term. Funding for any renewal term will be determined at the time of renewal and shall be subject to available budgeted funds.

    The District anticipates that the majority of the Work will be performed using Heavy Duty Equipment, with Light Duty Equipment used only on a limited basis and when specifically authorized by the District. Work will be authorized on an as-needed basis, and the estimated hours shown on the Bid Form are for evaluation purposes only and do not guarantee any amount of work, usage, or compensation.
