The New York State Department of Financial Services seeks to obtain the services of an actuarial consultant(s) to analyze loss and loss adjustment expense reserves and/or other related items (e.g. anticipated future investment income and provision for reinsurance, etc.) for specific insurance companies designated by the Property Bureau and to submit thereon and make recommendations for medical malpractice rates. Such Services must be performed in accordance with the specifications set forth in this Request For Proposals ("RFP"). The RFP and related attachments are available for download from the Department's website at: https://www.dfs.ny.gov/procurement. Important dates: Questions due by 3:00pm ET on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Answers will be posted on our website on or about Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
