Medical TPA/Network

The City of Lawrence is seeking proposals from qualified Medical TPA and network providers to ensure access to the most competitive pricing and evolving industry trends, while maintaining a comprehensive and sustainable benefits plan for approximately 900 employees and retirees.

Background

The City of Lawrence provides comprehensive health benefits to approximately 900 employees and retirees and is committed to ensuring access to high‑quality, cost‑effective healthcare coverage. As medical plan utilization, industry standards, and market pricing continue to evolve, the City seeks to maintain a benefits program that is competitive, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of its workforce. To support these goals, the City is issuing this Request for Proposals to identify qualified Medical Third‑Party Administrators and network providers capable of delivering dependable administrative services, broad and cost‑efficient network options, and strategic guidance aligned with current trends and best practices in employee health plan management.
