Failure to respond to a bid request may result in your company being removed from the active bidder's list **** ***** If you plan on being present for this bid opening, please acknowledge your attendance no later than one week PRIOR to the bid closing date **** Stony Brook University Hospital proposes to purchase Medium Voltage Metal Enclosed Switchgear and Related Items as per the scope and specification provided by the Design Firm of Record, Lizardos Engineering. A sealed bid will be held. Any vendor who believes they can provide this product limited to the manufacturers as stated in the bid specifications, Lizardos Scope MV Switchgear page 7 (261323.26-6) 2.1 MANUFACTURERS A. Schneider Electric; Square D HVL. B. Eaton. C. Siemens. D. Russelectric is invited to contact Patricia Firman at Stony Brook University Hospital’s Purchasing Department at the email address listed below for a copy of the bid specifications/solicitation or to discuss this opportunity before the due date stated in the advertisement. Interested bidders must provide all documents that clearly describe the item(s) proposed so that they can be evaluated by the end user. Failure to submit the requested item(s) information before the closing date listed below will eliminate the vendor from all further consideration. Items otherwise equal may not satisfy the requirement due to differences in material composition, size, environmental application, etc. Questions: All Bidders’ questions must be submitted in writing, citing the IFB page, section and paragraph number where applicable. All questions must be submitted via e-mail, no later than 4:00 p.m. April 8, 2026, to Patricia.Firman@stonybrook.edu. Questions received after the closing date for inquiries will not be answered. All questions must be relevant to the Bidder’s response to this IFB. Copies of all relevant questions, with official responses, will be provided in writing to all Bidders who have requested this IFB. Only written answers are official. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. The Hospital recommends that vendors file the required Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire online via the New York State VendRep System.
