PURPOSE: The purpose of this solicitation is to procure one Scout Plus Device, or an approved equal for our MnDOT Office of Traffic. The unit and its accessories procured will be utilized by our MnDOT District 7 Office located at 2151 Bassett Dr, Mankato MN 56001. MnDOT is obtaining equipment that can provide high quality video for AI turn movements, traffic counts (with FHWA 13-Class breakdown) and speed data. This camera allows us to set up equipment in steeper locations that would normally require a ladder. The camera has vertical reach. This camera and its accessories will allow for collecting data in a safer manner and in more optimal locations.
