    Description

    Unless a greater preference is applicable and allowed by law, in accordance with Minn. Stat. § 16C.16, businesses that are eligible and certified by the State as targeted group (TG) businesses, economically disadvantaged (ED) businesses, and veteran-owned businesses will receive a 12% (twelve-percent) preference. 1.03 SUMMARY OF WORK (see also Section 01 1000 for additional information) A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Civil, Mechanical. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 2. Provide a new 4-inch water service from the City watermain to the existing brine building and install it by directional drilling. 3. Provide interior piping, a new City water meter, RPZ, PRV, and related appurtenances. Insulate, hang, insulate, and label the piping as non-potable in accordance with the specifications. 4. Demolish and remove pavement for drilling pits and restore the surface to match existing pavement thicknesses using like materials. 5. Coordinate all earthwork with Archaeological and Tribal Monitors, as work occurs in a culturally sensitive area. 6. Provide traffic control, site security, and maintain access to the truck station for MnDOT personnel at all times. C.
