    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Modesto, County of Stanislaus, State of California, will receive electronic sealed Bids for the following work: Modesto 2025 Restroom Replacements project.

     

    The City Clerk of the City of Modesto, California, will accept all required bid forms electronically through the OpenGov Procurement portal prior to Tuesday, April 14, 2026 and before 11:00 am, in accordance with the Contract Documents for the Modesto 2025 Restroom Replacements project.

    The bid security, if being sent by mail, shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and filed with the City Clerk, Tenth Street Place, 1010 Tenth Street, Suite 6600, Modesto, California 95354, (Mailing Address: P.O. Box 642,Modesto, CA 95353) prior to the Tuesday, April 14, 2026 and before 11:00 am with the outside of the bid envelope indicating:

      Each bid shall be made out on the Bid Form available through the OpenGov Procurement portal and shall be accompanied by a bid security for not less than 10 percent of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the City Clerk, City of Modesto, California.

      Each bid shall also be accompanied by an executed Local Hire Certification and Skilled and Trained Workforce Certification in accordance with Articles 7 and 8 of Chapter 3 of the Modesto Municipal Code.

      The above-mentioned bid security shall be given as a guaranty that the Bidder will enter into the contract if awarded to them and will be declared forfeited if the successful Bidder refuses to enter into said contract after being notified to do so by the City of Modesto.

      The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in a bid.

      No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening thereof.

The old restrooms and concrete paving will be removed and replaced with new ADA compliant elements. The project includes adjustments to the electrical, sewer, water, and irrigation lines to the new buildings.
