    General Construction Contract D006602 Base Contract Summary: Work includes but not limited to: Exterior rehabilitation and limited interior alterations to the Montauk Downs Clubhouse, as well as accessibility upgrades to the Pool Complex, and Pool and Tennis Pro Shop and Concessions Outbuilding Restrooms. Estimated Range: $12,145,970 - $16,432,782 Alternate 1: Refreshment & Tennis Pavilion Upgrades Estimated Range for this Alternate is: $199,255 - $269,580 Alternate 2: Telecommunications Upgrades Estimated Range for this Alternate is: $90,670 - $122,671 There will be a pre-bid meeting at 11:00 AM on May 28, 2026, located at 50 S Fairview Ave, Montauk, NY 11954. All Requests For Information (RFIs) are due by: 10:00 AM on June 3, 2026. RFIs received after this due date and time will not be processed. The completion date for this project is 550 Days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller’s Office. PUBLIC BUILDING LAW § 8(6) Pursuant to Public Building Law § 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYScertified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,737,918 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2026). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder.
