NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals shall be submitted online via PennBid, Pennsylvania’s Electronic Document and Bid Management Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Wednesday, May 20, 2026 until 1:00 p.m. EDT for furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials necessary for the 2026-2027 Montgomery County Consortium Fuel Contract.Bids will be publicly opened on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. EDT, and a tentative bid award date shall be posted on the PennBid website after the bid opening.All Contract Documents including, but not limited to, bidding documents, bidding requirements, and specifications shall be available at no cost via the PennBid website.All bids must be submitted online through PennBid and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Upper Merion Township, and all bids must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety. Said surety must be licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond (“Public Works Contractors’ Bond Law of 1967,” P.L. 869, 8 P.S. § 191 et seq) in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the contract price on bond forms acceptable to Upper Merion Township.The successful bidder shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants for employment and employees or agents are treated without discrimination based upon race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, sex, or disability.The contract shall be awarded to a responsible bidder; however, Upper Merion Township reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in bids, as permitted by law.BY THE ORDER OF THE Township of Upper Merion, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania: By Anthony Hamaday Township Manager
