    PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Mother Lode Theatre, 316 W Park Street, Butte, Montana. Fire Annunciation / Alarm System Notice is hereby given that the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow (BSB) is requesting proposals from Architects or Contractors to provide an approved design-build scope of work for a fire alarm / annunciation system at the Mother Lode Theatre, located at 316 W Park Street, Butte, Montana, that meets all applicable local, federal, and state fire suppression and annunciation system codes. The proposal will include all labor, operations, materials, accessories, incidentals, services, and equipment to complete the project. The Contractor will obtain and pay for all required permits and provide all safety and security for their work area and for the safety of other persons. The Contractor will coordinate with BSB Historic Preservation, BSB Safety and Risk Management Department, BSB Facilities, and BSB Fire Department. Provisions will be coordinated with theatre management to allow theatre operations. ** Appointments regarding a pre-proposal walk through at the site or information regarding the building can be accommodated by contacting John Sullivan at (406) 497-6573 or jsullivan@bsb.mt.gov Qualified individuals or businesses will have demonstrated experiences and knowledge of fire suppression and annunciation systems. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available at the BSB Clerk and Recorder’s Office, Room 208, Second Floor, 155 West Granite Street, Butte, Montana 59701 and posted on the BSB website at http://co.silverbow.mt.us/bids.aspx. Plans for the Mother Lode Theatre will only be available online using the same link, unless a special request is made to have them printed. Proposals will be received no later than 4:00 pm MST, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the BSB Clerk and Recorder’s Office, Room 208, Second Floor, 155 West Granite Street, Butte, Montana 59701. Proposals will be opened and read at the BSB Council of Commissioners regular meeting on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 7:30pm MST, Council Chambers, 3rd floor BSB Courthouse, 155 West Granite Street, Butte, MT 59701. All Bids must be accompanied by an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the bid proposed in the form of (a) lawful monies of the United States; (b) a cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a national Banking association located in the State of Montana; (c) a Bid bond or bonds executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana. These securities will be forfeited to the Butte-Silver Bow City-County Government as liquidated damages if the requirements in the way of contract are not entered into within fifteen (15) days after the date of award by the Council of Commissioners. The successful Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal regulations and requirements, which include but are not limited to Section 3 Clause, Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Order 11246 and 11624, Federal Labor Standards and Civil Rights Act. Accordingly, BSB reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based upon fair, reasonable, and competitive rates, as well as the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed to represent the best interests of the City-County.
