Project Name: CUNY New York City College of Technology Pearl Building Bathroom Renovations and Asbestos Abatement (PLA/Union) Owner: DASNY Architect/Engineer: Shakespeare Gordon Studio Project Description: This will be a single prime general construction contract. This is a renovation of the bathrooms and service closets on floors 4 and 5. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: - Demolition - Install new walls, floors, doors, ceilings, lighting, plumbing equipment, plumbing fixtures, and bathroom accessories. - Relocated the existing fire alarm devices for reuse where possible and install new devices - Install new radiator covers and sills - Existing HVAC systems will be adapted to accommodate for the expanded bathrooms. - Install new concealed sprinkler heads - Abatement must proceed prior to installations Project Labor Agreement: The successful low bidder, as condition of being awarded this Contract, will be required to execute the PLA. All subcontractors of every tier will be required to agree to be bound by the PLA.
