    Description

    Contract Scope This contract is for the purchase, growth, and delivery of Washington Native Plants for all types of climates, locations, and uses. Washington Native plants are defined for the purposes of this Contract by the Washington Native Plant Society as follows: “Washington Native Plants are those species that occur or historically occurred within the state boundaries before European contact based upon the best available scientific and historical documentation.” TARIFFS: No tariffs have been approved for this Contract. Any additional fees proposed by the Contractor are not authorized or allowed. Please return invoices for correction to the Contractor, and also inform DES Contract Administrator Polina Boyle of any additional fees not allowed or authorized. Categories: Each plant species and size was awarded as its own category. Purchasers must reference the 12321 Pricing and Ordering to ensure they are doing business with the correctly awarded Contractor for the desired plants. For Trees, Shrubs, and Vines in 1 Gallon Pots, and Grasses, Sedges, Grass-like, and Wetland Plants in 10 Cubic Inch Plugs: There are up to two (2) Main Awards per plant species and size, and, Up to two (2) additional Reserved Awards to Washington Small or Certified Veteran Businesses per plant species and size. For all other Native Plants: There is one (1) Main Award per plant species and size, and, Up to one (1) additional Reserved Award to a Washington Small or Certified Veteran Business per plant species and size. Reserved Award(s) - Contractors who were awarded as a result of a reserved award made available only to WA Small and Veteran businesses. How to Use this Contract 1. Contact the sales representatives directly to consult about their products. 3. Reference DES Contract No. 12321 - Native Plants on your Agency's Purchase Order. 4. If the plants or sizes you want to order are not available on this contract, or all of the awarded contractors do not have capacity/availability, notify the Contract Administrator listed below and proceed to purchase outside of the Contract using your own procurement authority. 5. Purchaser’s are encouraged to complete the contractor feedback form Vendor and Contract Performance Feedback.
