    Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of PurchasingConducting Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Outdoor RecreationThe purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide:two different motors. One for an airboat (This is an emergency because the boat is used for search and rescue). The agency's preferred date to receive this motor is by or before Sept. 1, 2026 where it's an emergency. The second motor is for a Jet Boat. The agencys preferred date to receive this motor is by or before Jan. 5, 2027. The specifications, preferred due dates and budgets are listed in Attachment B Scope of Work for each motor. (Remember motor specifications and budget must be met for Motor 1 and Motor 2 in order to make a bid on either motor.)Mandatory Site Visit: NoneIt is anticipated that this IFB may result in multiple contract awards.The methodology or formula that will be used to determine the number of contract awards is: there will be two separate line items for each motor. One for the motor and one for shipping. A vendor does not have to bid on both motors in order to receive an award. The vendor closest to the preferred due date without going past the preferred due date may receive an award. The vendor that is closest to the preferred due date by goinig past the preferred due date may be awarded. (This situation is where no vendor is able to ship and deliver the motor by the preferred due date.)Length of Contract: preferable as short as possible, but when both motors have been received. Air boat motor preferred due date is by or before Sept. 1, 2026. Jet Boat motor is by or before Jan. 5, 2027.Vendor must guarantee its pricing until the agency receives both motors at their dock.
