Escambia County may award Line item by Line item for emergency items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services. Only OPENGOV submitted bids will be accepted.

Once you have completed account registration, browse back to this page, click on "Submit Response", and follow the instructions to submit the electronic bid.
1. FASCIA AND SOFFIT:
Replace any rotten or damage fascia and soffit. Use standard wood materials for the fascia and a vented vinyl soffit. Caulk and paint to match as close as possible to the existing the exterior finishes.
2. EXTERIOR DOORS:
Replace front entry door unit with hurricane rated metal clad insulated 6 panel door units with thresholds, weather stripping, trim, caulk and painted as per Escambia County Building Code. Entry doors are to have a peep holes. Replace the existing storm door with similar style and fashion. Install new dead bolts and lock sets that are keyed alike on all new exterior door units.
3. WINDOWS:
Replace the existing windows and patio door slider with new single-hung/slider vinyl impact windows as per the Escambia County Building Code. These units are to be complete with trims, screens, and low-e glass. Repair any windowsill or buck that is rotten or damaged.
4. GUTTERS:
Replace the existing gutters with new 6” seamless gutters. This is to include 4” downspouts, splash blocks, and diverters as needed.
5. PLUMBING:
Replace the tub with a paneled wall shower unit as per the Escambia County Code. Repair surrounding areas and replace the tub faucet with a new shower valve set. Add four reinforced grab bars to the master bathroom shower. Install a new kitchen sink faucet with sprayer, 3/4hp garbage disposal and stainless-steel double bowl sink. Install all new ¼ turn brass shutoff valves on fixtures, new braided supply lines, and replace any old piping and fittings associated with this repair. Add one reinforced grab bar at the kitchen step down.
6.EXTERIOR REPAIR:
Install a new 4x4 post on the front porch and paint to match the existing.

Vertical Construction requires a contractors license.
You will not need a signed quote form from the vendor if you use the pricing table, their pricing table is their quote, and vendor responses will be easily tabulated for you upon review of the quotes to see lowest, most responsive, and responsible quote.
If the vendor is on County property performing work etc. Insurance requirements must be listed in the quote request and should be confirmed by Risk Manager before posting. A Certificate of Insurance will be required.
Vertical construction will usually require a Division 1 Contractor's License and the vendor will need to upload proof of the licensure with their quote submission. If unsure, email contractorlicense@myescambia.com to verify license requirement before submitting quote.
