General Notice

Lennar Homes of Texas Land & Construction, Ltd. (Owner) on behalf of New Sweden Municipal Utility District (MUD) No. 1 is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

New Sweden MUD No. 1 Booster Station

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of Pape-Dawson Consulting Engineers, LLC., located at 10801 N MoPac Expy., Bldg 3, Suite 200, Austin, Texas 78759 until Thursday, May 14th, 2026 at 3:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received later than the specified time, whether delivered in-person or by mail will be disqualified. 

The Project includes the following Work:

• Furnishing and installing all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of New Sweden MUD No. 1 water treatment, storage, and transmission facilities. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
  • New 135,000-gallon Ground Storage Tank. All improvements including traffic control, sitework, grading, seeding, and appurtenances, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
  • New 150,000-gallon Elevated Storage Tank. All improvements including traffic control, sitework, grading, seeding, and appurtenances, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
  • New Booster Pump Station. All improvements including traffic control, sitework, grading, seeding, and appurtenances, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
  • New Electrical-Control/Chlorination Building. All improvements including traffic control, sitework, grading, seeding, and appurtenances, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
  • Furnish and install new yard piping, including 10-inch and 12-inch waterlines, steel casing, 6-inch fire lines and 1-inch chlorine supply lines, yard hydrant, manholes and vaults. All improvements including landscaping, planting, traffic control, sitework, grading, seeding, and appurtenances, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.

 

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website:

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, list of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for this Project.  All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Pre-bid Conference

A mandatory in-person pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the office of Pape-Dawson Engineers at 10801 N MoPac Expy., Bldg 3, Suite 200, Austin, Texas 78759. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

 

Instructions to Bidders.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

The deadline for questions is Friday, May 7th at 5:00 PM.  Please reference the project number and name in the subject line and provide the applicable page number with each question.  Responses to questions will be posted on the designated website as an addendum prior to the submission deadline.
