Well # 16 sitework includes constructing the new concrete driveway, new chain link and vinyl fence and gates, site lighting, grading, drainage improvements, and temporary security fencing with privacy screening around the Well # 16 Site and staging areas throughout the project duration. Part A Work includes bid alternates for emergency backup power generation and alternate production well casing system. The 12” Raw Water Main Extension (Part B) scope of work (Work) includes installation of approximately 740 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch PVC raw water main and appurtenances from the chain link fenceline at the new Well #16 site across Palm Tree Rd and east along 6th Ave N within the travel lane to 11th St N where it will tie-in and connect to the existing raw water main piping system. Part B Work also includes restoration including roadway repair and mill and resurfacing. Part B Work includes a bid alternate for replacement of the existing cast iron 6” water main in the 6th Ave N right-of-way from Palm Tree Rd to 11th St N. The proposed 6” water main includes installation of approximately 650 LF of 6-inch PVC water main and appurtenances within the 6th Ave N travel lane, parallel to the proposed 12” raw water main, replacement and transfer of existing water services to the new 6” water main, removal and replacement of a fire hydrant assembly, abandonment of the existing 6” water main by cut and plug, and restoration including roadway and driveway repair. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, services and incidentals to complete all Work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. Contractor shall be responsible for properly unloading, storing, installing and maintaining all materials and equipment. The Contractor shall perform the Work complete, in place, and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, testing, permits, cleanup, replacements and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction.
