The Power Transformer shall be complete with all accessories required for the safe, efficient, and convenient operation of the transformer within the scope of this specification whether or not such items are specifically referred to in this specification. The transformers shall be manufactured in the continental bounds of the United States.

The City requires a qualified, experienced manufacturer capable of providing a fully engineered, factory-tested transformer, along with all associated equipment, control systems, monitoring devices, protective relaying, and accessories necessary for safe and reliable operation whether or not each item is individually enumerated in the specifications. The selected vendor will also be responsible for coordinating delivery, providing a Field Service Engineer to supervise reassembly and field testing, and ensuring the unit is fully operable upon energization.
All materials and equipment furnished under this solicitation shall be new and manufactured within the continental United States, by a manufacturer approved by the City or the City's Engineer.
