    The construction of new sound walls along the west side of Northgate Boulevard at various locations between the intersections of Wilson Avenue and Rio Tierra Avenue. There are five (5) proposed sound walls within the project limits. Sound Wall Numbers 3 and 7 are to be included in the project at a minimum as the base bid. Sound Wall Numbers 2, 4, and 5 are to be bid upon separately as an alternative bid and only included within the contract if authorized by the City in writing. The base bid will be used as the basis of comparison between contractor proposals.The work includes removal of existing private improvements including, but not limited to, fencing, sheds, concrete, and vegetation, and placing new soundwalls, fencing, decorative boulders, and sidewalks.
