Vendors who object to the Notice of Exemption shall respond to this notice by uploading their written objections through OpenGov prior to the request’s end date and shall be addressed to the Chief Procurement Officer. Vendors who object must provide sufficient bases to support its written objection. Any written objections received as a result of this Notice of and Request for Exemption will place the Exemption request on hold, and the procurement officer will review the objection and provide a written determination to the person submitting the objection. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes.
Any inquiries shall be emailed to Purchasing@hawaiicounty.gov. Do not email your written objections to the Purchasing Division. All written objections shall be timely uploaded to OpenGov in order to be considered.
