This is a Notice Inviting Bids for the Parking Lot Rehabilitation portion of the City Yard Rehabilitation & Modernization Project. The Work comprises, but is not limited to, sealcoating, restriping, and select asphalt and concrete removal and replacements for the City Yard parking lots located at 15091 La Palma Drive, Chino, CA 91710. The City Yard equipment lot supports the City’s fleet, and due to operational constraints, the rehabilitation work must be completed in phases. The City will only permit weekend work for this project, as equipment must be relocated within the project footprint during construction. City staff have identified approximately 29,785 square feet of the parking lot exhibiting excessive wear. The base bid shall include a 2-inch grind and overlay for the identified areas. A full-depth 4-inch removal and replacement for these same areas shall be submitted as an add-alternate line item and will be considered for approval subject to available budget. Additionally, approximately 250 linear feet of concrete valley gutter will require removal and replacement. The precise areas will be marked prior to construction.
