Justification:
Putnam County School District is seeking professional development services focused on customer service, conflict resolution, communication, and stakeholder engagement for district and school-based staff. The training is intended to provide practical strategies for managing challenging interactions, improving communication with parents and community members, strengthening customer service practices, and enhancing overall stakeholder relationships within a K-12 educational environment.

The District is interested in training services that incorporate interactive learning opportunities, real-world scenarios, role-playing exercises, de-escalation techniques, and other proven methods designed to improve staff confidence and effectiveness when addressing difficult situations. The desired outcome is to strengthen communication, improve stakeholder experiences, and support a positive and collaborative culture throughout the District.

This notice is being posted to determine whether other qualified vendors can provide substantially equivalent training services. Vendors that offer comparable customer service, conflict resolution, communication, and stakeholder engagement training specifically tailored to K-12 educational organizations are encouraged to respond.

Subject: Notice of Intent to Award Single Source Procurement – Customer Service and Conflict Resolution Training Services

Putnam County School District intends to award a procurement as a Single Source Procurement in accordance with its Policy 450.03, and State of Florida Statute 287.057 (3) (c).  Any responses received in reference to this Notice will be for the sole purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Authority.  This is not a solicitation, and there is not a solicitation available.

 A Single Source Procurement is a purchase that is directed to one (1) source because of standardization, warranty, or other factors, which for justifiable reasons, is found to be most advantageous for the Putnam County School District, even though other competitive sources may be available.  A Single Source Procurement is a non-competitive procurement method.

 All are encouraged to notify the Purchasing Agent (Agent), stating their company/agency name, address, contact name, contact email, and a statement regarding their capability to provide the requested goods or services.  All responses must be in writing, submitted electronically via the e-Procurement Platform ("Platform"), by 6:00 am on Monday, June 15, 2026.
