All meters furnished under this purchase shall meet or exceed applicable standards for reclaimed water metering, including AWWA specifications where appropriate, and be capable of providing reliable and repeatable measurement over the range of flows typically encountered in reclaimed water service.
Collier County Utilities has multiple Master Meters installed throughout the Water, Wastewater, and IQ distribution systems. Flow meters are critical to a distribution system. These meters are used to measure and track the flows of potable and reclaimed water. Meters are read on a monthly basis and customers are billed for all usage. F.A.C. 62-555 & 62-610 requires all water to be metered.
