This work may include, but is not limited to, electrical work, construction work, demolition, demolition waste removal, parking lot repair, post-construction landscape restoration, erosion control, stormwater protection, EV site preparation, concrete and berm (re)construction, permit acquisition, vendor, city, and PG& E coordination. Design specifications have been completed. There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting (VENDORS ONLY NEED TO ATTEND ONE OF THE TWO DATES): Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 9:00 am OR Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Location of both meetings: Vista Lobos Parking Lot, at the Corner of Torres Street & 3 rd Avenue, Carmel-by-the-Sea. This Pre-Bid Meeting will allow bidders to receive an overview of the Project, see the working area, and ask questions. The Invitation for Bids is available at ci.carmel.ca.us/requests-bids-and-rfps or at ci.carmel.ca.us (under the tab “I Want to Submit a Bid or Proposal"). Sealed Bids shall be received at City Hall no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and shall be Submitted to the attention of the City Clerk with the envelope clearly labeled on the exterior “Electrical Panel Upgrade and EV Charging Stations,” and showing the name of the Contractor.
