Notice to Bidders-S. 5th Street Concrete Project

The City of Lafayette, Indiana, is inviting sealed proposals for the construction of the S. 5th Street Concrete Project. This project includes removing and replacing existing concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, alley and driveway approaches, adding ADA ramps, tree and stump removal, installation of landscape bump-outs, and new tree planting along S. 5th St. (between Alabama St. and Cul-de-sac to the South), along with other miscellaneous work related to the project.

• Key Requirements:
• Bids must be submitted using Form No. 96 and accompanied by the Project Bid Proposal Form.
• Financial statements must be current within four months prior to the bid date.
• A Cashier’s Check or bond of not less than five percent of the bid amount is required.
• Compliance with federal wage rate laws.
• Successful bidders must furnish Performance and Labor & Materials Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract price.
