INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids, in duplicate, addressed to Board of Directors, Northwest Harris County Municipal District No. 5, will be received at the office of BGE, Inc., 10777 Westheimer, Suite 500; Houston, Texas, 77042 (Phone: 281-558-8700) OR electronically through www.civcastusa.com, until 11:00 AM Local Time, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at which time all bids will be opened and publicly read at the office of BGE, Inc. and through Microsoft Teams. The Call-in number is (832) 680-2579 and the Conference ID is 384 672 043# for the furnishing of all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary or incidental to “Construction of Lift Station No. 5 and Forcemain Discharge Manhole Rehabilitation for Northwest Harris County MUD No. 5, Harris County, Texas.”

 

Scope of Project:

 

• Rehabilitate Existing Lift Station No. 5, including but not limited to cleaning, power washing, and inspecting T-lock lining with Engineer; removal and replacement of wet well piping, supports, and appurtenances; abrasive blasting and recoating aboveground piping, fittings, appurtenances, and wet well vent; replacing check valves and air release valves on valve pad; reconfiguration of piping for bypass connection; removing and replacing submersible pumps and safety net; electrical improvements; bypass pumping; installation of bypass manhole and forcemain; and rehabilitation of forcemain discharge manhole. All work shall be completed in place, in accordance with the plans and specifications.

 

Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. 

 

There will be no pre-bid meeting associated with this project.

A cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
