Summary of Revisions: The NY-Sun Program Manual has been updated to include the following: • Updates to the capacity sizes of the sectors in the Con Edison region and changes to incentive availability in the Con Edison and Upstate regions. • Updates to requirements for Contractors doing business in New York. • Clarification of Customer (project) reference requirements. • Builders who achieve the Quality Solar Installer designation for six consecutive years are eligible for the NYSERDA Quality Solar Installer – Platinum Status designation. • Introduction of the new Solar Energy Equity Framework (SEEF) Blocks. • Change in incentive eligibility for non-residential replacement systems. • Updates to the Affordable Solar Residential Incentive requirements, including a new link for NYSERDA’s Income Eligibility Application. • Updates to Prevailing Wage requirements. • Clarification on eligibility for the Multifamily Affordable Housing Incentive (MAHI). • Clarification on eligibility for the Statewide Solar for All (S-SFA) Adder. • Updates to the required documents for the Multifamily Affordable Housing Incentive (MAHI). • Clarification on Inclusive Community Solar Adder (ICSA) payout for projects that have a fixed and performance component. • Removal of Performance Payment Recoupment due to Non-Emergency Disconnection. This Summary of Revisions is inclusive of both PONs. C/I Projects may still apply for the Landfill/Brownfield Incentive Adder, the remaining Community Adder capacity for Orange & Rockland and Central Hudson, and the Inclusive Community Solar Adder -Added language that larger projects cannot subdivide for purposes of earning a higher nonresidential incentive -Added language that RNM/RC does not need a customer. CDG projects without the Community Adder can convert to RC. -Updated and expanded details on requirements for CDG projects on application and invoice Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences: Standard incentive - Cash incentives are available for qualified customers who wish to install PV systems through applications submitted by a Participating Contractor. A Participating Contractor has signed a Participation Agreement (with NYSERDA, agreeing to abide by Program terms and conditions). Affordable Solar additional incentive - Additional incentives for solar PV installations and solar PV installations paired with an energy storage system are available for customer households who qualify as low-to-moderate income. The Participating Contractor or Builder is responsible for preparing and submitting all necessary project application and incentive paperwork to NYSERDA.
