    Description

    This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the Old Jesup Road Drainage Improvement project. The successful bidder shall provide all skill, labor, material and equipment for the removal of the existing 6'x 2.5 box culvert and associated Storm pipe at Old Jesup Rd and the installation of a double run of 48 inch concrete RCP Class III pipe with associated head walls as indicated in the construction plans attached herein.

    The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Road cut and removal of existing asphalt and 12" concrete road base, Removal of the existing box culvert and storm system and the installation of approximately 64 linear feet of 48-inch Class III RCP storm pipe and installation of Headwalls, Traffic control and maintenance of traffic in accordance with approved traffic control plans, dewatering operations as required to facilitate construction, backfilling, compaction, grading, and restoration of disturbed areas, borrow material placement and grading, as necessary, Storm drainage and structure installation, bypass pumping if necessary to prevent flooding upstream. Erosion and sedimentation control measures, grassing and final site stabilization.

    All work shall be performed in strict accordance with: Construction plans and drawings, Technical specifications, Special provisions, and scope of work.
