    Description

    Island Transit (Island County Public Transportation Benefit Area) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide on-call professional services for transit facilities, infrastructure, and capital improvement projects.

    The selected firm will provide services on an as-needed basis over a three-year base period with two optional one-year extensions. Services may include planning and preliminary design, architectural and engineering design, environmental and regulatory compliance, construction phase services, program and construction management, and special studies and analyses for transit facilities throughout Island Transit's service area on Camano and Whidbey Islands.

    This procurement is conducted in accordance with the Brooks Act (40 U.S.C. Chapter 11) and FTA requirements (49 U.S.C. §5325(b)). Selection will be based on qualifications only — price will not be considered as an evaluation factor.

    Statements of Qualifications are due via Beacon no later than May 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time. All questions must be submitted in writing through Beacon no later than May 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time.
