    Description

The Port is responsible for maintaining safe operating conditions within the Long Beach Harbor District, including the management of hazardous waste materials that pose a risk to landside and waterside operations. In addition, the Port is responsible for maintaining the Port’s sewer system and stormwater catch basins to meet the requirements of the Long Beach Municipal Separate Storm Water Sewer System (MS4) Permit. To meet these requirements, the Port is seeking contractors with the necessary certifications, resources, and experience to provide hazardous waste cleanup and consulting services. These services support ongoing maintenance efforts and emergency response activities within the Port, as well as regulatory compliance with applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, rules and regulations. The Port expects to award more than one contract from this procurement.
