The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority ("Authority") seeks Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) from firms or individuals (“Respondent”) to provide Low Voltage and Fiber Optic Installation and Repair Services (“Services”) at San Diego International Airport (“Airport”). Services are to include, but not be limited to: Premise Distribution System cabling (inclusive of Category 6 Ethernet cabling, Fiber Optic cable installation and splicing); Outside Plant copper and fiber cabling and splicing; Cabinet installation; Documentation of cable records into the Authority's Cable Management System; and other site low voltage work.The selected Respondents are required to comply with installation standards and industry best practices, as outlined within the SDIAA Standards Manual (“IT and Security Performance Requirements”). A copy of the Standard Manual is attached with this solicitation on the Authority’s website, entitled: “IT and Security Performance Requirements”.1. Upon completion of the RFQ and interview process, the Authority anticipates executing Agreements with up to four (4) highest ranked Respondents, as determined by the Authority.2. When the Authority has a requirement for service, the Authority will provide the Respondents, under Agreement, with a Scope of Work and, if required, perform a job walk. Upon completion, the Respondents would submit their bids to the Authority.3. The nature of the Airport’s operations may compel the Authority to give greater weight to timeliness of project completion in the decision to award a particular project. If timeliness in the project’s start and finish are equal amongst the Respondent’s bids, cost may be the deciding factor. The Respondent with the best overall bid, as determined by the Authority, will be awarded the project and issued a Task Authorization to self-perform the requested services.
