On-Call services to raise environmental awareness and instill positive behaviors in the County's school aged children, Public Works implements two long-term Environmental Education Programs; one for K-5 grade students, and another, the subject of this Program, for 6-12 grade students at independent, private/parochial, and public schools. The Generation Earth Program (Program) is also commonly referred to as the County's Secondary School Environmental Education Program. The Program provides environmental education to 6-12 grade students by addressing key areas: The Four R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rethink), organics management, household hazardous waste (HHW), electronic waste (E-Waste), stormwater pollution prevention, water conservation, Safe, Clean Water Program (SCWP), and other sustainability messages.
