Protecting harbor water and sediment quality, protection of biological resources, along with leadership in environmental stewardship, remain core priorities for the Port. To advance these objectives, the Port’s Environmental Planning division administers a range of sediment, water quality, wildlife, and climate-focused programs to safeguard environmental resources, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the successful delivery of capital programs.
